Speak Up Against Hong Kong AFCD Officer's Alleged Cruel Handling of Dogs
Two harmless stray dogs were reportedly strangled and dragged by officers of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) in Hong Kong. A video uploaded to YouTube appears to show AFCD officials tying the harmless dogs tightly with cords until the dogs bled and then dragging them on the ground for about 10 meters before being stopped by onlookers.
AFCD needs to immediately stop using needlessly violent methods of dealing with stray animals. Should these allegations be verified, the offending government officers must be punished in order to show that cruelty to animals is wrong and inexcusable.
You can help! Please contact the director of AFCD and urge him to investigate any AFCD officers' cruel treatment of dogs!
