Tell the Four Seasons to Stop Supporting Elephant Cruelty
The Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Circle Resort in Thailand uses endangered Asian elephants as tourist attractions. These captive elephants are made to perform unnatural tricks and give rides at a nearby elephant training camp.
An investigation obtained by PETA US uncovered the horrific torture that is routine in Thailand's secret "training" camps. Still-nursing baby elephants are dragged from their mothers, kicking and screaming. They are immobilized, beaten mercilessly, and gouged with nails for days at a time. These ritualized "training" sessions leave the elephants badly injured, traumatized, or even dead.
Please join PETA Asia-Pacific in urging the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle Resort to be a role model for other resorts and adopt a cruelty-free policy prohibiting the use of elephants for entertainment purposes and instead help to promote the protection of elephants in their natural habitat. Tourists would flock to observe herds of elephants from a distance roaming freely in sanctuaries instead of performing tricks on command or being forced to give rides.
